AssetCoast^® is our innovation award winning approach to coastal, estuarine and river defence asset management. Traditionally coastal asset management focuses on individual asset physical defects and rectifying these, often on a site by site basis. AssetCoast^® identifies the physical condition plus the wider risks posed by coastal processes such as coastal erosion, wave overtopping and still water level flooding. These risks are then analysed to produce a long term coastal asset management plan, allowing asset owners to develop a long term view of their asset liabilities in terms of risks and future costs.
